How much does importing a car from Germany cost (customs & taxes)?
From the EU there are no duties or double VAT — only registration tax (IEDMT) by CO₂ and pre-VAT price: from 0% (≤119 g/km) to 14.75%. We calculate it in the calculator and the fixed price.
How long does the whole process take?
Germany/EU — usually 3–5 weeks. US auctions — 6–9 weeks with container logistics.
How do I verify the car without seeing it?
Before payment we send VIN, history, photos/video and a condition report. For auctions, a pre-bid inspection. You decide on facts.
How do payment and your commission work?
In stages: reservation → car payment → logistics/paperwork. Open commission: €1,000 + VAT. No hidden add-ons.
