We answer what matters
How much does importing a car from Germany cost (customs & taxes)?
From the EU there are no duties or double VAT — only registration tax (IEDMT) by CO₂ and pre-VAT price: from 0% (≤119 g/km) to 14.75%. We calculate it in the calculator and the fixed price.
How long does the whole process take?
Germany/EU — usually 3–5 weeks. US auctions — 6–9 weeks with container logistics.
How do I verify the car without seeing it?
Before payment we send VIN, history, photos/video and a condition report. For auctions, a pre-bid inspection. You decide on facts.
How does payment work?
In stages: advance → you pay the seller for the car directly → logistics and paperwork. Our service is one turnkey price: €1,750 + VAT — or €1,400 + VAT if the car is recent and under factory warranty (without the independent inspection). To start, a €400 + VAT advance, credited to the total. The money for the car never passes through us.
Do you work in my language?
Yes — Spanish, German, English, Russian. With the German seller, in German.
Why are you called ITV?
From Import Trade Vehicles Costa Blanca — we import vehicles, and those are the initials of our trade name. We are not a technical inspection station and have no connection with any: we take your car to an official station and handle the whole procedure.
