We handle the Calpe ITV for you
Calpe does have an ITV line of its own — a mobile ITV line permanently installed at the municipal vehicle depot, installation 0351, open Monday to Friday. It handles the periodic test and the re-test, and nothing else: an inspection prior to first registration, a modification, a duplicate or a damaged-vehicle check is not done in Calpe. Those go to Benidorm, about 23.5 km and some 25 minutes away, or to Ondara. So if your car is on Spanish plates and simply due, the station is in your own town. We collect your car anywhere in Calpe — from the marina and Arenal-Bol to the old town under the Peñón de Ifach — and bring it back. Over half the people living in Calpe were born abroad.
Take my car to the ITV →Where the car is actually inspected
Calpe has an ITV line of its own — but it does not do every kind of inspection. Which station you need depends on why the car is going.
| Station | ITV Calpe Mobile ITV line, permanently installed — installation 0351 |
| Address | Municipal vehicle depot, Calpe |
| Opening hours | Mon–Fri 8:30–14:00 (official register) |
| Done here | Periodic test and re-test — cars, light vans, motorcycles |
| Not done here | Inspection prior to first registration, modifications, duplicates, damaged vehicles |
| Vehicle limit | Wheelbase up to 3,600 mm for cars and light vans |
For everything the Calpe line does not do, the nearest station is:
| Station | ITV Benidorm station 306 |
| Address | Avenida de la Comunidad Valenciana, s/n 03503 Benidorm |
| Opening hours | Mon–Fri 7:30–21:00 · Sat 8:00–14:00 |
| From Calpe | about 23.5 km, around 25 minutes |
| Alternative | ITV Ondara, station 307 — the only station in the Marina Alta that does registration inspections |
Station data from the official register of ITV stations of the Generalitat Valenciana (open data, dadesobertes.gva.es), the SITVAL station page and the ENAC accreditation of installation 0351 (Anexo Técnico 136/EI/ITV154 Rev. 7, 24.01.2025). Hours change — check them before you travel. Full list of ITV stations in the region →
The sources are not unanimous about the Calpe point: the open register and SITVAL list it as a fixed station, the booking system treats it as mobile, the ENAC accreditation and the town hall call it a mobile ITV installed permanently — we use the wording all of them support. The register gives opening hours until 14:00 while the booking system stops offering slots at 13:00; that is a discrepancy between the official sources, not a correction of ours. Whether Calpe takes a car without an appointment we have not established.
What is checked there
Brakes, suspension, steering, lights and signalling, tyres, emissions, glass and mirrors, bodywork and the chassis number, and that the car matches its ficha técnica.
What we do
We collect the car, book the cita previa at the station your case actually needs, look over the points that fail most often, take it through the inspection and bring it back. You do not have to be there.
The ITV shouldn't cost you a day off, a language struggle and the fear of an unexpected fail.
Without a check first, one small defect can write off your whole day.
Cita previa, ficha técnica, permiso — all of it in Spanish, none of it optional.
A failed test leaves you looking for a garage you can trust, in a town you don't know well.
€125 + ITV fee. Zero Spanish bureaucracy.
We inspect your car first and tell you if it will pass — lights, brakes, tyres, exhaust, dashboard warning lights, fluids. No surprises at the station.
Cita previa, the queue, pickup and return of your car wherever you are.
We explain the documents (NIE, ficha técnica, permiso de circulación, insurance) and check your V16 beacon.
If something needs fixing, we find and supervise a trusted workshop — price, quality and timing controlled for you.
A once-a-year maintenance plan so your car and your next ITV stay easy.

2026
New for 2026: the V16 beacon
Since January 2026 a connected, DGT-certified V16 beacon replaces the warning triangles for signalling a stopped car. The inspection itself doesn't check it, but you must carry one — we make sure yours is certified and charged.
A concierge, not a taxi for your car
Others will drive it to the station and stop there; we stay with it to the end.
Message us on WhatsApp in any language; by phone and in person we speak Spanish and English.
We don't hand the problem back — the repair is arranged and overseen by us.
Anywhere between Gandía and Benidorm.
We can't promise a 100% pass — no one honestly can, we are not the ITV station. What we do promise: a straight pre-check verdict — if your car won't pass, we tell you before you spend a cent on fees — and we do everything in our power to get you through, including arranging and supervising the repairs. If we clear your car at pre-check and it still fails on something we should have caught, the re-run is on us.

Good to know
Do you work in my language in Calpe?
Calpe has around 26 821 residents, and 52.1% of them were born abroad — the largest communities come from the UK, Romania and Colombia. Message us on WhatsApp in any language; by phone and in person we speak Spanish and English.
Is there an ITV station in Calpe itself?
Yes. Calpe has a mobile ITV line permanently installed at the municipal vehicle depot, installation 0351, Monday to Friday — the official register gives 8:30–14:00, and the booking system stops offering slots earlier. It does the periodic test and the re-test only. An inspection prior to first registration, a modification, a duplicate or a damaged-vehicle check is done in Benidorm (station 306, about 23.5 km, some 25 minutes) or in Ondara. Cars and light vans are accepted up to a 3,600 mm wheelbase. We drive to whichever station your case needs, both ways.
Do I need to be there or hand over keys?
You don't need to be anywhere. We collect the car from your address and return it there, so the day isn't spent waiting.
What documents do you need?
The car's ficha técnica and permiso de circulación, your NIE and the insurance. We check them in advance, so nothing is discovered at the station.
What if my car fails the ITV?
We tell you at pre-check before you spend a cent. If something needs fixing we find and supervise a trusted workshop. If we cleared your car at pre-check and it still fails on something we should have caught, the re-run is on us.
What exactly does the €125 cover, and what's paid separately?
€125 (VAT included) is for our service: we collect the car, check it over, book the appointment, take it to the station and bring it back to you. We pay the ITV station fee there ourselves and add it to your invoice, with the receipt. Separately, only if needed: any repair work and the optional annual service.
Which areas do you cover?
Between Gandía and Benidorm — Javea, Calpe, Moraira, Altea, Benissa, Gandia, Oliva, Benidorm and the towns between Gandia and Benidorm.
What is the V16 beacon and do I need one in 2026?
Since 1 January 2026 a connected, DGT-certified V16 beacon is the only legal way to signal a stopped car in Spain — warning triangles no longer count. The inspection itself does not cover it: the official ITV procedure manual doesn't list the beacon, so no car fails because of it. You do have to carry one whenever you drive, so we check that yours is certified and charged while the car is with us.
Can you help in English or German?
Yes: on WhatsApp in any language; by phone and in person, in Spanish and English.
Why are you called ITV?
From Import Trade Vehicles Costa Blanca — we import vehicles, and those are the initials of our trade name. We are not a technical inspection station and have no connection with any: we take your car to an official station and coordinate the whole procedure.
